The work
Canada Contractors Inc. built the prefabricated security enclosure off-site, wrapped it, and lifted it over the perimeter fence into position with a boom lift.
On the upper floors, the exterior windows were glazed from boom lifts, and the glass was etched.
How the job ran
Each worker was cleared by the facility before starting, and staff escorted the crews inside the secure areas. Every tool was counted in and out, and the detention centre ran as usual throughout.
