New Concrete Retaining Walls and Sidewalk for CAPREIT in Mississauga
The grounds of two residential towers in Mississauga, for CAPREIT: failing retaining walls demolished and replaced with new poured concrete walls, drainage behind them and a new sidewalk. Completed in 2025.

The work
Our crews demolished the failing retaining walls and removed the old concrete.
The new walls were formed, reinforced and poured on site: our crews set the reinforcing steel, built and braced the timber formwork, and placed and hand-finished the concrete. Drainage was placed behind the walls before backfilling.
A new concrete sidewalk was laid over wire-mesh reinforcement and hand-finished beside the walls, and the grounds were restored with new sod.
